Real-time authorization enables merchants to quickly determine whether there is sufficient credit available on a cardholder's credit card to complete a purchase, and display this information to the purchaser. This typically takes place in under five seconds. Real-time authorization enhances the customer purchase experience and eliminates the need for merchants to call back customers for declined credit cards.

The interactive transaction register is a secure area of the Skipjack website where transactions can be managed. Through the interactive register, merchants have the ability to settle, freeze, thaw, issue full, blind and partial credits, establish a recurring payment schedule, delete, reauthorize expired transactions, and view transaction detail. These controls can be performed on any given transaction or group of transactions (note: most Interactive register functions can also be performed from outside the system using specialized interfaces). The interactive register is a powerful tool to assist you in managing your business.

Skipjack Transaction Network supports all major credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover and Diner's Club, from whatever corner of the globe your customers are from. Skipjack provides you with the flexibility you need to support your customers' preferred credit card payment method.

Skipjack enables up to 30 user-definable fields to be sent to and stored by the Skipjack system. This means that survey information, product information (or whatever other information you may find valuable) can be permanently associated with each transaction. This information can then be retrieved using Skipjack's powerful reporting tools; an easy way to mine a wealth of data to help you run your business.

Skipjack provides the most advanced reporting tools in the industry, with a full suite of online standard and custom reports. Skipjack's support for up to 30 user-definable fields means that you can perform in-depth data mining. And with the ability to quickly export any report, you can use your favorite reporting tool to analyze your business.

Skipjack supports automatic sending of confirmation emails to you (using multiple email addresses) and/or your customers. These emails are fully-configurable, and can include whatever level of order detail you require. The email notification feature provides valuable information to both you and your customers. It is also a tool that you can use to send messages to your entire customer base.

Recurring Payment - With Skipjack Merchant Services, merchants who are providing subscriptions or any service that requires billing on a regular periodic schedule can automate this task with Skipjack's recurring payment capability. Nine different recurring payment periods are supported (e.g. monthly, weekly, semi-annually, etc.).

Fraud Screening - Skipjack provides full control of Address Verification Service (AVS) fraud prevention features for U.S. cardholders. AVS verifies personal address and billing information provided by a customer at the time of an online credit card transaction. The service verifies that the information provided by the customer matches the information the credit card company has on file for the credit card number entered.
